Barbara D. Goodman

Barbara D. Goodman, age 71, of East Brady, PA, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012 at Forbes Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 29, 1941 in Rimersburg, PA, the daughter of James Bruce and Dorothy (Croyle) Runyan.

Barbara dedicated her life to taking care of her family and her pets. She loved to read her bible and God was a very important part of her life. Barbara will be best remembered for being a sweet friend, mother and grandmother who hugged and kissed everyone she met.

She will be deeply missed by her sons, Timmy D. Goodman and wife, Belinda, of Kittanning, and David "Jake" Goodman and wife, Melissa, of New Bethlehem; daughters, Marie D. Russell and husband, Robert, Lisa D. Claypoole and husband, Marion "Jr.", Tammy D. Deitz and husband, Samuel, Buffy L. Schulz and husband, Henry, and Nicole M. Smith and husband, Ryan, all of East Brady; sister Jackie Kriebel, of Rimersburg; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Junior Abron Goodman, who died in 1998; and brothers, Richard Runyan, Carl Runyan, Joseph Weaver and James Runyan.

Relatives and friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of funeral services at 1 PM on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg, PA, with son-in-law, Henry Schulz, officiating.

Burial will be in Concord Presbyterian Cemetery, Perry Twp., Clarion County, PA.

Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
