Linda MaziarzLinda Maziarz, 69, of Kittanning, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 30, 1943 in Meadville, PA, to Walter and Minnie Lawyer.
Linda spent her younger years in Meadville and graduated from Meadville High School. She was a resident of Kittanning for the past 40 years and was a very active parishioner of St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Linda belonged to the Catholic Daughters of America and Sister of Saint Joseph Auxiliary, and she was also an RCIA instructor and served as an Eucharistic minister for over 10 years.
She enjoyed visiting various casinos and playing the slots, and she also liked reading love story novels and just being with her husband. Linda's main love of her life was spending time with her family. She was most proud of her sons and six grandchildren, and loved watching her grandchildren in all of their activities. Linda will be sadly missed but will live on forever in our hearts.
Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband of 48 years, Richard Maziarz; sons, Rick Maziarz and wife, Amy, of Butler, and Sean Maziarz and wife, Jennifer, of Pickerington, OH; grandchildren, Tara, Derek and Peyton, of Butler, and Nathan, Hayden and Lindsey, of Pickerington, OH; sister, Maggie Gray, of Meadville; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and two sisters.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning.
A Funeral Mass will be at 12:30 PM on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe, 101 W. High St., Kittanning, with the Reverend Douglas E. Dorula officiating.
Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery, Meadville, Pennsylvania.
