Thomas "Earl" Walker, age 88, of Edinboro, PA, formerly of Templeton, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 at Edinboro Manor.

He was born on January 18, 1925 in Garretts Run, Armstrong Co., PA, to Louis F. and Laura E. (Smail) Walker.

Earl lived in Armstrong County until he was 45, moving to Meadville, PA in 1970 where he worked at the PPG Industries, Meadville Plant as a foreman. He honorably served his country as a Corporal in the US Army during WWII. Earl was of the Protestant faith and he enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing cards.

He will be deeply missed by son, Michael Walker and fiancee Darlene; step-son, Gary McClellan and wife Betsy, of Meadville; step-daughter, Cynthia Arnemann and husband David, of Fairview, PA; three step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Loretta "Joy" Walker, whom he married December 23, 2000 and who died April 3, 2013.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chesnutt Street, Meadville, PA 16335.

Additional visitation will be held from 12 PM until the time of funeral services at 1PM at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA, on Thursday, September 19, 2013, with the Rev. Richard L. Molgaard officiating.

Burial will follow at Cochran Cemetery, Boggs Twp., Armstrong Co.

Memorial contributions may be made in Earl's honor to Vernon Central Hose Company, 16589 McMath Ave., Meadville, PA 16335.
