Mary E. Rearick

Mary E. Rearick, 84, of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Armstrong County Health Center.

She was born January 9, 1932 in South Bend Twp., Armstrong Co., PA, the daughter of Albert Ross Ewing and Mabel G. (Smith) Ewing.

Mary graduated from Elders Ridge High School in 1949 and continued on to business school. She was a resident of Kittanning since 1962 and worked as a bookkeeper for a number of years. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and loved traveling with her husband, Richard.

She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 62 years, Richard Norwood Rearick, whom she married March 14, 1953; sons, Bruce N. Rearick and Alan B. Rearick and wife, Renee, all of Kittanning; daughter, Valerie D. Walker and husband, Sam, of Sarver; and grandchildren, Keith N. Rearick, of Rural Valley and Reanna Rearick, of Kittanning; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harry Ross Ewing.

Friends will be received from 7-9 PM on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of funeral services at 1 PM on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at the funeral home with the Rev. Dana Wilmot officiating.

Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pennsylvania.

Arrangements are being handled by Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.
