Ernest W. Fyock, 92, of Delmont, PA, formerly of Templeton, PA, died Sunday, December 4, 2016, at his residence.

He was born in Rochester Mills, PA on June 9, 1924, the son of Percy H. and Bertha A. (Burkey) Fyock.

Ernest was a lifelong resident of Templeton and graduated from Kittanning High School in 1943. He honorably served in the US Army and worked at Eljer Manufacturing in Ford City as a caster for 34 years, retiring in 1980. Ernest was a member of the Templeton Church of God and attended Faith Methodist Church in Delmont. He also belonged to VFW Post #863 of Kittanning.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 69 years, Obreda (Bowser) Fyock; children, Kathy L. Master and husband, Roger, of Templeton, Robert W. Fyock and wife, Marsha, of Delmont, PA, and Kenneth W. Fyock and wife, Terri, of Annapolis, MD; grandchildren, Cresta McGinnis and husband, Michael, Chamie Master, Missy Andrasko and husband, Ronald, Shawn Fyock and wife, Jessica, Damon Fyock and wife, Dayle, Tori Fyock and Ian Fyock; great-grandchildren, Logan, Codey, Kadence, Adalynn, Cameron, Mariah, Chloe, Abby, Emma, Aleric, Caleb, Addison, Lucy and Jude; brothers, Jack W. Fyock and wife, Nancy, of Virginia, and Harry B. Fyock and wife, Jean, of New York; sister, Nancy C. Galbraith and husband, Daryl, Summerville, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Justin D. Fyock, Donald Fyock, Howard D. Fyock, Harold Fyock, James Fyock and Edward L. Fyock; and sisters, Lois Walker and Sarah Schull.

Relatives and friends may visit from 4-8 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2016, at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N McKean St., Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Friday, December 9, 2016, at Templeton Church of God, 276 Clay St., Templeton, with the Rev. Richard Molgaard and Rev. Robert W. Grimm co-officiating.

Burial will follow in Cochran Cemetery, Templeton, PA.
