Robert R. "Bob" Coleman
Robert R. "Bob" Coleman, 87, of Spring Church, PA passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on Feb. 17, 1938 in Spring Church, PA; the son of Roy Alexander and Georgiana (Turner) Coleman.
Bob was a lifelong resident of Spring Church and graduated in 1956 from Elderton High School. He was a South Bend Township Supervisor for 36 years. Bob worked as a gas measurement technician at Peoples Natural Gas, retiring in 1993. He had a true passion for farming and spent many years raising beef cattle, always with his beloved John Deere tractor by his side. Bob enjoyed riding his Gator and connecting with fellow gas company retirees for breakfast.
Above all, Bob was a family man. He cherished his time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially family vacations with the whole family. He was known as "jack of all trades". His kind heart and willingness to give the shirt off his back will be remembered by all who knew him.
His memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 63 years, Loretta (Cravener) Coleman, whom he married on Nov. 24, 1961; Son, B. Scott Coleman and wife, Brenda of Spring Church; daughters, Kristine M. Hilty and husband David of Ford City and Kimberly A. Anderson and husband Bobby of Spring Church; grandchildren, Tyler (fiancée Kaytelin Cowen) Anderson, Travis Anderson, Leah (Adam) Tatsak, Evan (Emily) Hilty, Breanna (fiancé Donnie Neese) Coleman, Brittany (Conner) Fairman; and great-grandchildren, Luke and Mia Hilty, Jack Tatsak, and one on the way.
Bob was also survived by brother, Donald G. Coleman and wife, Joyce of Kittanning and sister, Ruth Ann Shaffer of Mars, PA.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom A. Coleman; and sisters, Ellen Jane Kness and Martha Joy Bortz.
Family and friends will gather from 12 PM until the time of services at 1 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Elderton Presbyterian Church, 115 N. Main St., Elderton, PA 15736 with Rev. Dr. Angel De La Cruz officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bob's memory to the Elderton Presbyterian Church.
