Brian J. Hathaway

Brian J. Hathaway, 61, of Clarion, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at McKinley Health Center at Laurelbrooke Landing in Brookville, PA.

He was born on Feb. 10, 1965 on Homestead Airforce Base, Homestead, FL; the son of Calvin C. and Sandra K. (Ishman) Hathaway.

Brian graduated from Redbank High School. He was employed in the food service industry his whole life, working as a manager for KFC for over 20 years. Brian loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and attending their sporting events. He was an excellent wood craftsman and enjoyed making and giving personalized gifts.

His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Susan (Ferguson) Hathaway, whom he married on Sept, 20, 1986; brother, Jeff (Becky) Hathaway; sister, Suzann (Jodi) Guth; nieces and nephews, Jenna (Matt) Bish, Bethany (Phil) Ackerman, Alex (Michelle) Hathaway, Hunter (Daniel) Lopez, Christy James, Elizabeth James and Mason Guth; and great-nieces and nephews, Treyvin Ackerman, Kiara Ackerman, Owen Bish, Parker Bish, Cole Hathaway, and Beau Hathaway.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents.
