Elizabeth Ann Copenhaver
Elizabeth Ann Copenhaver, 96, of Glenshaw, PA formerly of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at her daughter's home in Glenshaw, PA.She was born on January 1, 1930 in Brady's Bend Township, PA, the daughter of Clarence and Ethel (McKinney) Rossman.
Elizabeth graduated from East Brady High School in 1947 and moved to Kittanning in 1949. She was employed by AllTel in Kittanning for 23 years, where she began as a telephone operator and later worked as an accounting clerk before retiring in 1989. Elizabeth was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and enjoyed participating in many church events. She also served others in the area as a volunteer for Armstrong County Memorial Hospital as well as being an auxiliary member for the hospital. Family was incredibly important to Elizabeth and nothing gave her more joy than caring for them.
Her memory will be cherished by her sons, Thomas B. Copenhaver and wife Melissa, of Kittanning, and Robert M. Copenhaver, of Pittsburgh; daughter, Sue Englert and husband David, of Glenshaw; granddaughters, Abby Abranovic and husband Austin and Kelsey Copenhaver and companion Spencer Hill; two great-grandchildren, Frankie and Hallie Abranovic; and brother, Thomas Rossman and wife Sandra, of Butler, PA.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by parents; her loving husband, Robert C. Copenhaver, whom she married on May 23, 1954 and who passed away on Nov. 7, 2012; and a brother, John Rossman.
Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.
Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the Bauer Funeral Home with Rev. John Hopkins of Grace Presbyterian Church officiating.
Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, PA.
