Jeannette Amick

Jeannette Amick, 87, of Johnstown, PA, passed away on Monday, Oct. 12, 2026 at Concordia at Arbutus Park in Johnstown, PA.

She was born on Oct. 9, 1939 in Elderton, PA; the daughter of Rev. Howard Wallace and Anna (Bingell) Amick.

Jeannette was a lifelong resident of the Johnstown area. She graduated from Indiana Teachers College and went on to teach in the Conemaugh Area School District. She was a member of Mt. Union Lutheran Church in Shelocta. Jeannette loved to travel and journeyed all over the world. She also enjoyed reading and taking part in group activities at Arbutus Park Retirement Community.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
