Violet "Isabell" Henry

Isabell Henry, 97, of Rimersburg PA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Clarion Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Nov. 29, 1928 in Sligo, the daughter of Harry and Veotta (Rearick) Vogle.

Isabell was a devoted member of Sligo Church of the Nazarene and a woman whose faith was the cornerstone of her life. She loved spending quiet time working on puzzles and doing word searches. Isabell enjoyed going to the Rimersburg Senior Center. Family was very important to Isabell, she loved spending time with her family and loved celebrating special occasions. She will be remembered for tending to her outdoor flower displays at her home in Rimersburg.

Her memory will be cherished by her son, Charles H. Crissman (Billie) of Rimersburg; daughters, Cathy Johnston of Rimersburg, and Rhonda Henry (Dana Bennetti) of Emlenton; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 39 great-great-grandchildren.

Isabell was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene Marian Henry, whom she married on July 27, 1974 and who passed away on Feb. 22, 1988; daughter, Elaine Beabout; brothers, Carl "Ike" Vogle and Connel Clair Vogle; sisters, Gladys Wetzel and Margie Vogle; and her former husband, Franklin Grant "Red" Crissman.

Family and friends will be received from 5-8 on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 758 Main St., Rimersburg, PA.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Shimmons officiating.

Interment will be in Sligo Cemetery, Sligo, PA.
